A (Photo) Summary of the Merdeka Weekend

1. Friday night (290808): the controversial Avril Lavigne's concert at Stadium Merdeka

Moi and Aunty G before the sun sets

Us goofing around with the provided cheap raincoats, for it was raining! ;)

Us after the 1.5-hour concert ended. That thing at the back was the stage. Soo far away eh our seats? Of course maa. Our tickets were the cheapest!

The raincoats left behind. Malaysians!

*All in all, the concert was entertaining, but the organizers could funk up the sound system 'tho! Not so rocking lah!*

2. Balik kampung (300808 - 010908): Kulim! (and hopefully, Penang! For super cheap DVDs!)

300808: A very cramped backseat with 1 adult, 1 half-adult (14y.o teen), and 2 kiddies (1 in a big-ass child car seat), 5-hour journey.

310808: The 4 pictures above depict what we usually do after a heavy lunch when we go back to Kulim: sleep.

*That's all for now. Here's hoping for a trip to Penang night market tonight!*

**This entry was posted by using Maxis Broadband. Kulim pun dapat signal kaww, Kuantan bile lagi??

SELAMAT HARI MERDEKA YANG KE 51, people!

The Headaches and Heartaches of FYP

My precious raw papaya peel extracts in powder form I kept in the deep freezer are GONE.

Vanished. Disappeared into thin air. Disapparated themselves to where, I don't know.

So, all the work that I've done during the short semester, all the sleepless nights spent at the lab, all the body aches I got, all the time and money spent for the toll, the gas and whatnot to get the papayas from the farm in Lanchang to Kuantan, are all for NOTHING.

NOTHING.

I wonder why all these are happening to me (and Yusof and Haris).

I hate this.

We have to start from scratch now.
And it's already the middle of the semester.

And we have to get new papayas, which will be a big problem, because I don't have a car here.
