Day 2: London Calling - of Buckingham Palace, Westminster Abbey, and Cat Fish

Did a lot of walking on Day 2. Changing of the Guards at Buckingham Palace, Malaysia Hall London at Bayswater (because Pika wanted her ikan keli), Westminster Abbey (which totally reminded me of A1's Benjamin Adams hehe), Big Ben, and the National Gallery (which we didn't enter - look at the crowd!). And of course, the experience of going through the maze of subs :)

Self Love - Day 4: Favorite Photograph of Best Friend(s)

I couldn't choose only one of my best friends, so here's all four of them:

This is a recent picture of Gen. I love this picture of her because she's rocking the stylish shawl wrap! ^^

This picture was taken when I went to visit Pika in the UK early this year. We went to the Malaysian Hall in Bayswater, London, and she was so happy because she got to have ikan keli after so long craving for it! lol

This is Shera. This picture is an all-time favorite of mine, because it was taken on the happiest day of her life - her wedding reception day. She simply looked divine, and the eye make-up was smashing and suits her to a T!

ROFL. This is Abboy. She's this cute, blur, adorable, brilliant, genius friend of mine ^^

Power to the Ladies!

Wife: I need a black dress.
Husband: You have a black dress.
Wife: I need a wide range of black dresses.
Husband: You have three black dresses.
Wife: Three is not a wide range; 20 is a wide range.
Husband: You are not buying 20 black dresses.
Wife: Okay, you win. I'll make do with 10. Actually, seven or eight should be plenty.
Husband: Right. I should think so too.

By the time he realised that he had okayed five new black dresses, she was halfway to Zara.

Feeling 'Territorial'?

I was thinking of writing on something, but the problem was solved just minutes ago.

Friends are forever. If they're happy, then you should be happy for them.

It doesn't matter if something gets in your way, because that something is just too insignificant compared to the friendship that you've built over the last 5 years.

If in one way or another you catch yourself thinking "What was she thinking saying/doing that to me?", then maybe you should ask yourself the same question.

What were you thinking saying/doing that to her?

That is one of the basics of Friendship 101.

I'm Not One Half Of A Couple, So I Depend On My Girl Friends

"It's already 6pm. What's for buka? Makanan kat bazaar mesti dah habis."
"Makan roti je la for buka."
"Huh? Sangat sedih la makan roti je. Nape nak makan roti je?"
"Ye la. Saye kene prepare untuk nanti bile kamu dah ade boyfriend mcm Cito. When that time comes, I will be eating alone."
"Huhu. A'ah la."

Well, those were not the exact words, but the essence of the conversation is there.

Grabbing a meal, catching a movie, window shopping, shopping for shoes, whining about weight gain etc.

I do all those with my girl friends.

Without them, I'd be lost, alone, the loner, the recluse.

Don't get me wrong. I can be alone. I can function perfectly as a human being when I'm by myself. But I prefer to be waiting for my meal to be served at a restaurant with somebody.
