Yep, I haven't changed at all.
I might have left school, I might have more pairs of shoes now, but I'm still the same girl I was 2 years ago.

This picture was taken when I went to visit Pika in the UK early this year. We went to the Malaysian Hall in Bayswater, London, and she was so happy because she got to have ikan keli after so long craving for it! lol

This is Shera. This picture is an all-time favorite of mine, because it was taken on the happiest day of her life - her wedding reception day. She simply looked divine, and the eye make-up was smashing and suits her to a T!

ROFL. This is Abboy. She's this cute, blur, adorable, brilliant, genius friend of mine ^^

p/s: Saturdays and Sundays are my days off. So no blogging. But I can't remember what happened to last Friday 'tho. I went to the Parliament on Monday (yesterday), it was so tiring I passed out half an hour after I got home.

So I'm gonna do 2 30-day challenges at once. Haha. I'm gonna be blogging from the office (bad I know, but I only blog when the Internet connection is too slow to make good progress on my work - work requires super fast Internet!). But I'll set to publish the posts later in the evening.

Day 1 – A photo of yourself and a description of how your day was.

Paris, Feb 2011 :)

 My day was ordinary. Woke up at the usual time (6.15am), left home at the usual time (7.00am), reached the office in Bangsar at around the usual time (7.50am-ish). Well, my morning commute to work was ordinary if you consider having inconsiderate drivers cutting the 30-minute queue and swooped right in front of your car 'ordinary' :/

Arrived at the office and delved into work right away, 'cause  it's already the second week of March and my stack of to-do stuffs still haven't budged much. Worked like a horse 'til noon, skipped lunch (didn't have the appetite - wasn't feeling well, I blame the clogged nose). Continued to work 'til office hours are over. Went back home (6.oopm), played with Ean & Echram (the new week-old nephew), had dinner with family, watched some TV.

Basically that's all I ever do these days. Yes, I have zero social life *sigh*

16. Favorite time of day?  Dusk and dawn, when the sun is rising and setting - everything looks gorgeous at those times of day.

The 7-Day Challenge [Day 7]

[Day 7]

One story of a memory I have

2001; Sekolah Tun Fatimah.

My best friend and I used to fight over stupid, little things in high school. I still remember we wouldn't talk to each other for quite some time. We would pull our desks as far apart as the class seating layout would allow us to, so that our elbows wouldn't clash. It's like there's an imaginary line with a signage saying 'PRIVATE PROPERTY: TRESPASSERS WILL BE PROSECUTED'. I wouldn't cross over to her side of the desk, and she wouldn't cross over to mine. It was like we didn't know each other. We went to the school canteen for recess with other girls, in separate groups. Say that our mutual friends were laughing about a joke or something and we happened to be there with them laughing along, and suddenly we'd catch each other's eyes, we'd immediately stop laughing and pretend we didn't know each other.

Looking back, I can't even remember why we even fought in the first place!

But now we have gone our separate ways, doing our own thing, but we still keep in touch from time to time. She's pursuing medicine right now. She'll make an awesome, ass-kicking doctor, because she's brilliant, and she's made of tougher stuff (unlike me). Although we don't see each other much right now (okay, maybe once or twice a year at a wedding reception or a batch gathering), she'll always be my Minnie Monkey, and I her Koala.
 

And that is one story of a memory I have - the ridiculous fights with my best friend.

1. A pair of gold-ish heels appropriate for dinners/wedding receptions, à la Louboutin's Pigalle.
2. Exchange rate of British pound to drop, so that I can shop with my BFF in the UK, without worry.

3 things that I miss.

1. Standing at the edge of the beach (wtf? shore line? water line? coast line? gigi air/pesisiran pantai!) at night - used to do it when I was an undergrad. Yes, just standing there, letting the darkness envelops you and the water rushing in at your ankles, soaking the frayed hems of your jeans.
2. Slathering a thick glob of mayonnaise onto a piece of white bread at 2am and eating it because you're famished.
3. The best 5 years of my teenage life in high school. We had joy, we had fun, we had seasons in the sun (okay so that was a line from a Westlife song, but I really did have fun).
