One Thing Leads To Another

MSN Live Messenger buat hal, so have to troubleshoot. Finished with it, try la bukak IE7. All these while pakai Firefox je. Saw an 'MSN in Concert' link featuring the boys, which was posted on the website on 26th June. I clicked on it, and...

Whamm! My Backstreet Obsession is back in full force!

They performed at the O2 Arena, London on 14th May to a packed-to-the-brim house. And boy, did they rock the show! The whole concert was 95% similar to what I experienced at Sunway. The song arrangements, the props, the costumes, everything!

*Duhh, of course la Dinie. They call it a 'tour' for a reason. It's so that they can recycle their clothes, and dance the same dance routines, and say the exact same line: "Hello London/Malaysia! We are the Backstreet Boys.. and we would like to thank each and every individual here for coming tonight. Without you, we would not be here right now, 15 years on.." -- or something like that.

But hey, as I said in the 11th March entry, THE BOYS CAN DO NO WRONG!

I laughed out loud when the camera panned to a trio of guys singing (more like shouting, from what I saw) along to 'I'll Never Break Your Heart' into a cell phone, to whom I assumed, were their girlfriends. The same female:male ratio there at the arena, 1:1. Screaming girls/mothers didn't outnumber the other also screaming gender. Equal in number!

Watching the 78-minute concert brings back happy, happy memories (to those who have no idea what I'm talking about, please refer back to my 11th March entry).

1994:

Nicky so cute!

Howie, tingginye seluar? ;p

2007:

Sume dah muke bapak orang dah..

I know I'll love them forever, even when I'm 65 and my grandsons/granddaughters dig Metallica, or Yanni. They are THE boy band of the CENTURY. Period.

*stop smirking, people!*

But, sometimes, I do miss Kevin..

Counting Down To Zero

Am currently lazy-ing around in the house, waiting for 1 o'clock to come. Woke up at 9am (heaven), having breakfast 'til 10am, slowly munching the mee goreng (no rushing to find the name tag), and now am sitting down typing this entry.

1 hr 50 mins 'til HRH comes home to pick me up

What do I do, what do I do, what do I do to while the hours away? Oh, after finishing with this, I'll go around the house to get a sweater, toilettries, a T-shirt, couple of DVDs, maybe a blankie and a small but fluffy pillow.

1 hr 45 mins 'til HRH comes home to pick me up

What will I have for dinner? By 5pm, there'll only be a few people left in that place! Will the cafe be opened then? What about the mini mart there? Walking to GE and ordering Nasi Goreng Ikan Masin AND Mango Ice Blended at Cozy's across the road is not an option, 'cause I'm on the clock. Well, we'll see how it goes. If HT and KP wanna go, no problem with me! I don't wanna be left alone there at night! I heard scary things happen in that place. Wuuuuuu.

But just to be safe, I guess I'll bring some crackers and 2 or 3 packets of 3-in-1 Milo. Can my tummy stand not having real food stuffed into it for those long hours?

*sigh*

1 hr 37 mins 'til HRH comes home to pick me up

I'm gonna go stuff all those stuff I mentioned before into a backpack. Don't forget the flip-flop, Dinie.

*slaps own forehead, hard*

OHHH, no wonder they always carry a backpack when they come in!

1 hr 37 mins 'til HRH comes home to pick me up

Take a (wild) guess of where I'm going, people.

See y'all on Thursday!

Of Ezora's Joshua And Stupid Digi People

I went from being extremely giddy and tralalalala to extremely angry and pissed off.

This evening, I just realized that that Joshua guy from Ezora was my schoolmate in primary school. Since the first episode of the series, he seemed soo familiar. He was famous back then for having a popular brother who’s a famous actor. Does anybody know Ahmad Idham? Yeah, he’s the brother (Mr. Cinderella, anyone?).
And his kid brother went to school with me. Everybody had a crush on him. So did I. *You should have seen that coming*
He even had a not-so-big role in the Cucur Tepung Cap Adabi advertisement. Cucur tepung cap Adabi, cepat dimasak, sedap dimakan!
He was the kid with the floppy hair in white T-shirt. So cute!
So, you can imagine how excited I was when I suddenly remembered him from my school days. He didn’t change at all, except for being taller! That hair! That face! Sebijik macam abang die!
So, to vent out my uber tralalalala-ness, I called Pika for about half an hour. So, gab gab gab gab. More gabbing, then I hung up.
Then, the message showed my credit balance. Digi users should be familiar with this.
To my utmost shock, Digi said I spent RM12.96 for the 24 minutes and 15 seconds I gabbed my world away. Like,

WHAT THE HELL??

Mind you, Pika is on my Friends & Family list. I should only be spending at most RM3.75, as in 15sen per minute!
I checked the list again. Her number wasn’t there! And I was damn sure her number was the first set I put in! Did the Digi people secretly reset their customers’ Friends & Family lists, deleting some of the numbers? So that they unwillingly will have to pay more than what they’re supposed to when calling/sending a text message? So that the money will go straight into their pockets?
This is ridiculous! I spent extra RM9.21! I could talk for another hour with that!
Yes, I’m calculative like that.

What does ‘Your Tariff Tier has changed’ really mean anyway???
